Raised in a family of fiber artists – my mother a skilled needlepointer and cross-stitcher, and with a lineage of seamstresses and tailors – I was no stranger to the world of textiles.

 

While pursuing a degree in graphic design, I discovered the art of hand weaving. The parallels were undeniable: from the meticulous planning and mathematical calculations to the graphic elements that transform into stunning woven patterns.

 

Over the past three decades, weaving has remained a constant source of solace and joy. With its endless possibilities, I continue to learn and explore this deeply rewarding craft.
